GC81 Set to Begin

Many clergy and laity are in transit or have already arrived as the 81st General Convention of the Episcopal Church is set to begin tomorrow, June 22nd, in Louisville, Kentucky.

The legislative body of the denomination meets every three years in a week-long convention where all church resolutions, canonical changes, prayer book revisions, and the like, are debated and voted upon.

Along the way there are gatherings, reunions, celebrations, hearings, meetings, and the exhibit hall. Follow this space as Fr. Greg posts throughout the Convention.
