Facility Rentals
St. Mark's Church in downtown Evanston offers a variety of types of space to rent for the community for all sorts of purposes.
Located at 1509 Ridge Avenue between Grove and Lake Streets just a stone’s throw from central downtown Evanston, the property includes the 19th century Church Building and Parish House.
Community events, birthday parties, bridal or baby showers, small concerts, scout meetings and gatherings, 12-step programs, tutoring, musical practice or rehearsing, art studios, yoga and tai chi, are just some of the many groups that have or continue to rent rooms or halls on the church grounds.

Facility Spaces & Amenities
Church Building
The Church Building features the 300-seat sanctuary and is often used for concerts as well as special occasions, such as commencement or matriculation ceremonies.
There is a central parlor space with a kitchenette for serving small to medium-sized parties or receptions, meetings, or gatherings.
Parish House
The Parish House is a three-story building that provides a myriad of possibilities including office space, classroom space, storage space, and a banquet hall with attached kitchen.
Bethlehem Chapel
Our Bethlehem Chapel completes the offerings, a more private space for secured meetings with meeting tables, a podium, and technology.

Availability
The Parish House and Bethlehem Chapel are typically available.
Use of the Church Building sanctuary and parlor are negotiated with the clergy or music director on a case by case basis due to their frequent use by the congregation.
Pricing
In most cases, the rate is $70/hour for any of these facility rentals, with a refundable security deposit of $250.
For long-term rentals, we are happy to negotiate monthly or yearly fees and help accommodate you.
